Beverley has worked as a home economist and cookery writer for more than 50 years.  She presented a 6 week microwave cooking programme on Pebble Mill at One, for the BBC and has appeared on TV and broadcast on radio many times.  Beverley has written more than 23 cook books, including the first microwave cookery book that became available on the general market. She joined Ashford Wye and district U3A in 2013 and enjoys many of the interesting activities they offer.  She hosts regular cookery demonstrations, followed by lunch in her own home. Beverley writes a regular healthy eating recipe column for the U3A magazine called TAM.  She also hosts a French conversation group for U3A.
